Salt Creek Falls is located in the Willamette National Forest, 64 miles southeast of Eugene, Oregon. Salt Creek Falls descends 286-feet into a canyon. The overlook is just a short hike from the parking lot but if you want to capture a great photo or get immersed in the forest continue on the trail past the Salt Creek Falls overlook.
A $5 parking fee is required or approved pass. Site offers bathrooms, picnic tables, miles of hiking trails and great scenery. In the winter trails are marked for cross-country skies or snowshoers. Diamond Creek Falls is a short 1.5 mile hike, 3 miles round trip from the Salt Creek Falls Overlook parking lot.
